Introductory Message
In celebration of Children’s Day, we are going to talk about something fun - games. We'll start with toys and games from childhood, such as shuttlecock, Chinese jump rope and East-West-South-North etc. Then we will move on to explore the adulthood entertainment. Mahjong is definitely on top of the agenda. A comparison of Chinese traditional games with western/modern games will be drawn as well. Lastly, let's try to figure out the function and purpose of games for individuals and the society as a whole.
